Clothing donations

Everything on our racks came from clothing donations from community members like you and sorted by volunteers! Thank you for thinking of us and supporting our mission.

How it works

Bring your donations to the shop any time during our open hours, and we'll take it in! We will (optionally) take your name, weigh the donation, and offer you a blank donation receipt for your taxes.

What do you take?

Basically anything wearable!

  • Gently used & clean junior and adult sized clothing

  • Accessories: scarves, hats, bags, jewelry, ties, etc

  • Clean and new or like-new undergarments and gender affirming equipment

  • Clean shoes in good condition

We love all donations but we get really excited about:

  • Plus size clothing, XL+, all genders

  • Binders and other gender affirming undergarments in good condition

  • Alternative and queer fashion

Shop supplies we can use:

  • Reusable, paper, and plastic shopping bags with handles

  • Light-colored masking tape

  • Sharpies/low odor permanent markers

  • KN95 masks

What DON'T you take?

  • Kids clothing

  • Non-clothing items like home goods and linens

We <3 kids and we <3 stuff, but we don't have capacity to take these in, unfortunately!

What happens to the excess?

Anything we cannot fit onto our racks at the store gets redistributed to other local resources such as:

  • Community Free Store

  • Kenton Clothing Exchange

  • Hygiene4All

  • Rahab's Sisters

  • New Avenues for Youth

  • Rose Haven

  • IPRC

This often changes with the season and we are always looking for more places to redistribute. If you know an org that could use some help, let us know! If you represent one of these orgs, stop by and help us lighten our load!

Thank you so much for all the support!
